Lindsay Macalpine Bruce

Lindsay Macalpine Bruce

Counselling Psychologist in training

I am a trainee counselling psychologist carrying out my doctoral training at Glasgow Caledonian University. I have trained in both person-centred therapy (PCT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I have experience working with a range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I work with clients from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds as well as LGBTQ+ people. I also work with couples.

I understand that sometimes you need support in making sense of your situation or even just a space to be heard. In therapy, I aim to offer a warm and compassionate environment that is free from judgment and will support you in exploring your difficulties and find ways of managing them. I believe it is important for therapy to be a collaborative process and I place you, your needs, and your perspectives at the heart of this. Whether you are looking to work towards a specific goal or are wanting a space to explore your experiences, I will be there to support you through this.

Counselling Psychologist in training

I am a trainee counselling psychologist undertaking my doctoral training at Glasgow Caledonian University. I have trained in person centred therapy (PCT) and have experience in mindfulness and meditation with the aim to provide a safe and genuine space to foster a strong therapeutic relationship focused on you. I have experience working within domestic abuse, victim support, and bereavement services, and have worked with presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma.

I can appreciate how tough it can be to reach out for support and begin to open up about any difficulties you are experiencing but I aim to ensure you will be met with warmth, openness, and my genuine self to work collaboratively towards your goals.

Dr Oliver Saint Martin

Dr Oliver Saint Martin

Counselling Psychologist

My name is Oliver. I have a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am 28 years old, non-binary (they/she), and I identify as queer, asexual and autistic (in no particular order). I work with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to low self-esteem, trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety and depression. I specialise in working with LGBTQ+ and/or neurodiverse individuals, and I am committed to neurodiversity-affirming, anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice. I am an integrative practitioner, meaning that I use different therapeutic approaches to tailor the therapy to each client, because I don’t believe in a one-size-fits all approach for therapy. I ground myself in the Person-Centred approach, and mainly draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and the idea of Plural Selves. As your therapist, I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can be unapologetically yourself and talk about whatever you want. I believe strongly in curating compassion and kindness to yourself and others. My aim is to help clients understand themselves, accept themselves, and support them in their journeys, whatever these may look like.
