Senior Psychotherapist

My aim is to help people progress in life, increase their wellbeing, and meet their goals. I have an integrative style, which means I believe it is important to have the right combination of therapeutic approaches that meets the needs of the individual.
I’ve trained in and utilise evidence-based therapies that include Schema Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model.

In addition to working with a broad range of challenges, I specialize in trauma and attachment related concerns and provide trauma specific treatment for people at all stages of their healing journey.  Over the past ten years I have worked in a range of roles within the helping profession across the U.K. and Canada with children, youth, and adults. This has allowed me to develop a broad and unique skill set that informs my understanding, style and approach.

Counselling Psychologist

I am a Counselling Psychologist trained in both Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches. My training also includes informed training from other approaches, such as Schema Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). By holding a pluralistic approach and valuing the client’s needs and wants, I work collaboratively with the client aiming not to only help them understand themselves in more depth, but to also explore ways towards their personal and emotional growth. Working with me you will find out that a paramount element of my approach is to provide a safe, warm, and confidential space, that will work as a facilitator for the development of a strong therapeutic relationship between us and the better support of your psychological wellbeing.

I have experience working one-to-one with a variety of age groups such as primary school children, young people and older adults with different presenting issues e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, self-esteem etc. I also work with couples aiming to provide a safe space to explore and work on understanding each other’s needs and wants in order to find ways to overcome the challenges of the relationship.

I am a counselling psychologist committed to fostering positive change and well-being in individuals’ lives. I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I gained a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices such as person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, DBT, and EFT. Counselling Psychologist in training

I am a trainee counselling psychologist carrying out my doctoral training at Glasgow Caledonian University. I have trained in both person-centred therapy (PCT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I have experience working with a range of ages and presenting issues.

I understand that sometimes you need support in making sense of your situation or even just a space to be heard. In therapy, I aim to offer a warm, compassionate environment, free from judgment that will support you to explore your difficulties and find ways of managing these. I believe it is important for therapy to be a collaborative process and I place you, your needs, and your perspectives at the heart of this.
