Person-Centred Therapy: Glasgow and remote

What Is Person Centred Therapy?

We are proud to provide Person Centred Therapy in Glasgow and remotely within a personal and innovative therapeutic practice.

Person-centered therapy is a talking therapy that employs a non-authoritative approach. It allows clients to ‘self-actualise’ by taking more of a lead in sessions so they can discover their solutions and make suitable changes. Person Centred Therapy upholds the belief that each person is unique and that their worldview/self-view should be trusted.

In person-centred therapy, the therapist is a caring facilitator who listens without judgment. They act to respect and acknowledge the client’s experience without directing the conversation. The therapist will encourage and support the client to explore what they need to without interference to allow self-discovery.
